Day at the Denver Art Museum + Lunch at Leven Deli

I love a good museum and the Denver Art Museum does not disappoint! The recent reopening of the Martin Building has more than doubled the museum’s exhibitions, so there is plenty to keep you and your date occupied all morning. Spend the day checking out the art, and grab a late lunch and drinks at Leven Deli. Leven has an excellent wine selection – I highly recommend getting a bottle to split!

Dinner on 17th Avenue + Arcade Games at 1Up

There are tons of restaurants along 17th Avenue that are perfect for a casual date night. With options ranging from sandwiches at Park & Co, classic American food at Steuben’s, or even vegetarian comfort food at Watercourse Foods, there is a restaurant to suit any preference. After dinner, walk a couple blocks to 1Up for pinball and other arcade games. Winner gets bragging rights for the rest of the night!

Dinner at Tacos Tequila Whiskey + Trivia Night at Bruz Off Fax

For a fun, lively date night, kick off the evening with drinks and dinner at Tacos Tequila Whiskey. Once you’ve filled up on tacos and margs, go to nearby Bruz Off Fax for its weekly trivia night. Bruz Off Fax has a super comfortable lounge area and beers to suit nearly all tastes. Plus, the lively atmosphere of trivia night keeps the evening exciting!

Drinks + Projects at Upstairs Circus

Upstairs Circus describes itself as a “DIY workshop meets bar.” While there you can make unique crafts while sipping on your favorite drink. Pick from one of the dozens of project choices (you and your date don’t have to do the same one) and work at your own pace as your creation takes shape. I love interactive date nights like this – it’s a blast to connect over how good (or bad) your project turns out!

Dinner on 6th Avenue + Movie at the Esquire Theater

A list of Denver indoor date inspo isn’t complete without the classic dinner and a movie. But instead of seeing the latest blockbuster, catch a lesser-known film at the Landmark Esquire Theater. Snack on some popcorn and candy before grabbing dinner at one of the amazing restaurants along 6th Avenue. You’re not short on choices for dinner in the area, but my favorites are Pho on 6th, Angelo’s Taverna, and Fruition (make a res for this one).
