My Can’t Forget Travel Essentials

When packing for a trip there are some travel essentials that I never forget. Then I check two more times to make sure that I actually packed them because they’re that important. These are my tried and true travel favorites.

Travel essentials: luggage, tripod, leggins, clutch, packing cubes, silk pillow

Away Luggage Set

Away is a popular luggage choice for a reason. The bags are durable, have plenty of room, and are so chic. I never expected to be so excited about luggage, but I have the bigger carry-on and the large and am obsessed. After a couple years of trips, the bags still look just as good as the day I got them.

Away Packing Cubes

Packing cubes are so helpful for keeping your suitcase organized and compressing things down a little, especially if you tend to overpack. I’m a big fan of Away’s packing cubes. Since they’re made to go with Away luggage, they fit comfortably in my bags. If you’re looking for packing cubes that are less of an investment, Amazon also has tons of options.

Cuyana Convertible Clutch

This is one of my go to everyday bags, but I particularly love it for traveling. Cuyana always has quality products, and this is no different! It’s a small clutch that converts to a shoulder bag, crossbody, or belt bag. The inside has several compartments, as well as six card slots so you don’t need to carry around your wallet. It has a very thin profile, but holds way more than it appears. Perfect for anyone who prefers to travel light!

Lululemon Align Leggings

These are literally the softest, most comfortable leggings that I own. Ideal for long travel days, lounging at the hotel, or just strolling around, these are travel essentials for me. Because these leggings have such a simple design, they can easily be dressed up a little if you don’t feel like putting on real pants. I wore mine all over Europe, especially once all the pizza in Italy started to take its toll.

Kindle

I always like to travel with a book or two, but they can be heavy and take up a lot of valuable packing space. I recently got a Kindle and it had been so good! It’s lightweight, portable, and has storage for more than enough books. If you’re also someone who has to travel with a couple books, a Kindle will make your carry on way lighter.

Que Collapsible Water Bottle

This bottle is lightweight and collapses into a compact bottle, making it excellent for travel. I prefer to avoid single use plastic as much as possible and bottled water is always so overpriced at airports. Instead, I pack a collapsible bottle and fill up after security.

Slip Silk Pillowcase and Eye Mask

I always use silk pillowcases at home to protect my skin and hair, and this is just as essential when traveling. Plus, some hotel pillowcases are less than ideal. A good eye mask is another travel essential. Whether you’re blocking out airplane lights or brightness shining into your hotel room, an eye mask is valuable to have.

The Daily Edited Clear Travel Cases

A good travel case makes packing so much easier. This set comes with two cases – one larger and one smaller. Each has two separate compartments and one has an elastic strap to hold any smaller items in place. They’re compact, quality cases that fit toiletries and makeup perfectly.

Tripod and Remote

When traveling, sometimes it’s difficult to find someone to take your picture, especially if you’re somewhere less crowded. Selfies are great, but I always want full body, quality pictures too. Enter the phone tripod and remote. I love this for taking pictures on hikes or when I just don’t feel like asking someone else.
