Colorado is consistently ranked as one of the most beautiful states in the country and this high ranking is definitely deserved. Of course there are the iconic Rocky Mountains, but the state is also home to so much more. Here you’ll find the tallest sand dunes in North America, canyons that plunge 1,250 feet into the earth, endless plains and grasslands, pristine alpine lakes, and some of the most gorgeous sunsets I’ve ever seen. In short, Colorado is a nature lover’s dream.
